Hello everyone! :) Yes, don't have to rub your eyes to confirm that it's Meelu posting an entry. It's Sunday, you can choose to buy 4D too! Haha. Up since 5am cos baby Ryan's kicking alot, probably still excited over Man United's 18th EPL title! :) Been enjoying mummy and baby moments....where I just lie on bed and feel him moving inside me and responding to his actions. My dear husband attempted to teach him to count 1 to 10 in english and mandarin. Haha. Somehow Ryan reacts a lot especially when daddy talks to him and daddy is very pleased with that. :P But Paul's been working till wee hours for the past few months so that's why Ryan's a night owl. Hope we can train him to sleep soundly through the night or I'll have a tough time getting up for work next year. *fingers crossed* We're really blessed that my pregnancy's been smooth so far... (so is my tummy thanks to clarins stretch mark control cream. haha. highly recommended!) Morning sickness initially, coffee-withdrawal *pouts*, minor backaches now and then (getting more frequent cos Ryan's 1.3kg now!), no cravings for exotic food that requires paul to go to extreme parts of singapore. Hope we''ll have a smooth delivery too. The idea sounds scary at times, and I have no idea what's my threshold for pain...but I'll try! Appreciate my mummy much more now... we're really great lor. Haha. Daddy's doing a great job learning to be daddy too, amidst coping with the demands of a horrible project. Went for our 4th childbirth education class yesterday and it seems like he can swaddle and put on cloth diaper for the (dummy) baby better than I do! There's so much to learn and prepare...it's overwhelming. Can't wait for June break to start so at least I have time to plan and prepare more adequately. Ryan's due August 1st (+/- 2 weeks), that's about 10 weeks from now. *gasp* But I'm sure we'll cope with so much love and support from my family and friends, especially Ryan's 12 enthusiastic godmas whom I'm sure will spoil him lor! :P They kinda got me excited about baby shower already, okok, shall think about it soon! Yipee! Went baby shopping last weekend and we spent a bomb on the stroller, car seat and baby cot. *faints* But, it's a worthy investment. I'll either have enough kids to make it wu3 hua2 or pass on to future mummies to benefit. Hehe. Somehow we have a strong preference for red, well you can tell by the design of my living room. :) So here's a glimpse at our purchases!
And here's mummy's personal purchase, thanks to Even again! :)
Need something more pro for work with my new appointment. Big colourful straw bags can't seem to work. Haha. I'm proud of myself for handling my impulsivity well and not getting this instead.
Please gimme a daughter next, I so wanna dress her up in pink! :) Okie... shall end here and hope I get into the mood to blog again sometime soon, not like a few years. Haha. Have a great Sunday everyone. *hugs* |
